Dressagio is a coming together of 2 passions…
From an early age, I have always been passionate about 2 things…music and horses. I started my music journey at the age of 5 playing the piano and I am now a music graduate with a degree specialising in composition. I play two instruments and have been a member of various Big Bands and Orchestras.
For part of my degree I spent up to 1 year studying freestyle music, horse mechanics and vet studies. This ultimately enabled me to better match the music I write with the specific requirements of each individual horse, and enhances the lateral work in each routine…with the ultimate goal of setting the routine up for success.
Horses are my other passion where I have actively researched breeds and their origins along with completing the first-stage course in Equine Psychology
Why use Dressagio for your dressage music?
That careful balance comes from understanding the synergy between horse, rider, music and floorplan. That is not found with ‘off-the-shelf’ music clips alone, however carefully or cleverly they are combined together. It requires a deeper knowledge and appreciation of each part and how to balance them.
As a musician, composer, and horse rider…with a deep knowledge of breed personalities and traits, I can bring these skills and experiences together in order to offer something very unique.

BESPOKE DRESSAGE MUSIC PACKAGE
To start with I would take a brief from you, which is a short conversation over the phone, via Zoom call, or if you are local can be face-to-face. This is to get to know you, your horse, your routine and your preferences….
To begin a composition, a videoed floor plan is required, so the timings of the music and movements can be synced. A two-minute sample of music will then be produced and layered over the video, to give an idea of what it will look like live.
During this concept stage, I work closely with you to funnel down to an agreed style which is then taken forward to the next stage.
This next stage is a development process where the full music composition is created and layered over the entire video routine. During this stage, I include up to 2 development updates where fine-tuning is applied.
When you are happy with the final development cut, I will then move on to the last stage which is to output the final music composition to a media device of your choice. The package includes an MP3 file via email, but CDs; and/or USB sticks are also available at extra cost.
FLOORPLANS PACKAGE
(COMING SOON)
This is a service I will be offering in the near future. It includes a pre-designed floorplan and music combination which you can purchase and perform to.
The music composition will be pre-made to fit the floorplan, and the floorplan will be carefully designed to show off your horse’s movements to the best of their ability.
I am looking to work with expert floorplan developers and welcome contact from anyone with experience in this field.
